The play “The Canopy” will premiere on April 24, Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. on the stage of the Burgas Drama Theater “Adriana Budevska”. The production is at the “Bulgarian Army” theater and is a guest at the invitation of the cultural organization “Art Atelier”.
The author of the play is Sidoni-Gabriel Collet, the director of the performance is Stefan Spasov, the music is by Doni – Dobrin Vekilov, the artist is Petya Stoykova. The “Canopy” stars: Gergana Dandanova, Veselin Anchev, Eli Koleva, Yasen Atanasov, Elena Raynova, Meglena Karalambova, Petar Dimov.
“The Canopy” or 40 years of the life of a married couple from 1890 to 1930. With this romantic comedy, full of humor and charm, Colette, a brilliant expert in the intricacies of the game of love, the master of the “dangerous relationship” plot, follows the life of a man and a woman from their first wedding night, through the first birth, the first infidelity , and until their adulthood. 50 years of life together will unfold before our eyes, he and she will experience their highs and lows, but will successfully pass through the minefield of family life. A story of a love that we cannot call exceptional or extraordinary, but a story in which we can look around and recognize, although it is clearly dated to the time of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers. But what does time matter when it comes to what happens between a man and a woman under the canopy of their love?
The premiere of the performance will be on April 24th at the “Adriana Budevska” theater, and tickets are sold at the box office of the NHK Cultural House.
