The municipality of Silistra organized an initiative to make colorful festive decorations

An initiative entitled “Spring and festive Silistra” began in the Danube city, the organizers from the local municipality announced.
The administration sent invitations on Facebook to schools, kindergartens, community centers and cultural institutions to join the initiative. Children should make colorful and patterned play corners or photo frames. They will be located in the central part of the city and residents and guests of Silistra will be able to capture the festive moments in them.
Do-it-yourselfers and cultural institutions should display Easter eggs and festive decorations with various motifs symbolizing spring and renewal.
The aim of the initiative is to decorate emblematic places in the city and create a festive atmosphere on the occasion of the upcoming bright holidays of Lazarus Day, Palm Sunday, Easter and St. George’s Day.
