For the period from 04/15/2024. until 21.04.2024 4,652 motor vehicles and 7,878 persons were checked on the territory of the ODMVR-Stara Zagora within the framework of the ordered specialized police operation for compliance with the Law on Road Traffic. 1040 slips and 283 acts for established administrative violations have been drawn up, reports the press center of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Stara Zagora.

Emphasis in the action is the prohibition of driving by drivers who have consumed alcohol, narcotic substances and/or their analogues, as well as driving of motor vehicles by unlicensed drivers. In the same period, a total of three drivers were identified who got behind the wheel after consuming alcohol, and three of them drove after consuming alcohol up to 1.2 per thousand.

One driver was found to be driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, and one driver, stopped for inspection, refused to be tested for the use of alcohol or narcotic substances.

10 unlicensed drivers were found. 3679 violations of speed regimes were found.

From the summary data: according to the “linear control” method, for the same period, 127 inspections were carried out, 97 violations were found.
