The final stage of the project to replace the water pipes in Dobroshka mahala is starting, it includes 370 properties

The last stage of the project “Reconstruction of street water pipes and building diversions in the southwestern part of the city of Razgrad” begins. Today, a construction site was opened and a construction line was determined.

The stage, which is under #1 in the project, is the largest of the five stages of the project, including the replacement of 5,473 meters of water pipes, affecting the supply of 370 properties in the area. The financing for the implementation of this stage in the amount of BGN 2,536,394.47 was granted to the Municipality of Razgrad by the Ministry of Regional Planning and Development at the end of last year.

The section where excavation work and pipe replacement will be carried out includes the streets south of “Zheravna” and west of “Yumrukchal”, including part of this street. Excavation works start from the streets: “Srebarna”, “Alexander Stamboliyski”, “Silivria” and “Colonel Markov”.

The project is implemented by the DZZD “SKS-06”. The deadline for the implementation of construction and repair works is 180 calendar days from the opening of the construction site and determination of the construction line.

The streets that will be worked on will not be closed, but traffic on them will be difficult, which is why motorists are urged to be careful when passing through the sections where water pipes are being replaced. Razgrad Municipality appeals to those living in the areas where repair works will be carried out, with a request to provide assistance by moving their cars from the areas where work is being carried out.

After replacing the water pipes, the contractor has a commitment to restore the asphalt coating of the excavated areas.

The work on replacing the water pipes on “Lyuleburgas” and “Kratovo” streets also continues. These are the last streets of stage 2 of the project to reconstruct the water pipes in Dobroshka Mahala, where the water pipes had not been replaced for more than 50 years and water losses exceeded 70%.

The Municipality of Razgrad apologizes to the citizens for the temporary inconveniences related to the repair.
