Report of vandalism in Blagoevgrad. A young woman reported that her car, parked in front of Southwestern University, was attacked with a metal rod Friday night and the windows were broken.
The lady fears that it may be an attempt at intimidation. The police are working on the case. The victim, Mirela, said that there were no stolen items from the car.
“This is a targeted act of aggression that I can understand as a threat to me,” she added to Nova TV. According to her, the car was not the object of an act of vandalism, but was hit purposefully.
“The damage is not harmless, the case is not to be underestimated. I can’t put my finger on who did it, my suggestions range from a woman’s malice to a man I didn’t respond to to a colleague from the university,” added Mirela.
This is another case of vandalism over cars that are parked in the parking lots around Southwestern University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad.
Police officers of 01 RU-Blagoevgrad are working on the following signals received:
- Broken, for the time from 04:00 to 14:00 on 20/04/2024, the left rear window of a passenger car “Toyota Yaris”, parked in the parking lot of an educational institution in the area of ”Ivan Mihailov” street in the city. Blagoevgrad, as missing from the car have not been identified.
- Broken, for the time from 5:00 p.m. on 19/04/2024 to 04:30 a.m. on 21/04/2024, a small triangular glass on the front right door of a passenger car “Kia Seed” parked in the “Zapad” in the town of Blagoevgrad and the theft of about 100 BGN.
- Broken, for the time from 9:30 p.m. on 20/04/2024 to 09:30 a.m. on 21/04/2024, a small triangular glass on the rear left door of a Škoda Octavia passenger car parked in Gramada district in city of Blagoevgrad and the theft of a tablet and the sum of about 100 BGN.
