The percentage of pensioners who live on the threshold of poverty is alarming. As we all know, the people in North-West Bulgaria are in the greatest need of support.

Essential products are essential, but equally important is the care and attention given to the elderly in this region.

On the occasion of the approaching Easter holidays, we again decided to lend a hand and make the holiday a little more smiley for several families.

Thanks to the initiative “Give Easter lunch to a pensioner in need”, organized by the “Save the Good” foundation, today I had the opportunity to help with the purchase and distribution of the products. I spent full time with 23 pensioners and part of their families in the village of Moravitsa and the village of Tsarevets, Vratsa region.

I am convinced that doing good and helping those in need is a sign of good human values. I encourage everyone who has the opportunity to participate in such initiatives in order to create more occasions for smiles in our society.
