The regional mayors in Varna gave a report on the spring mowing.
The activities of the first lawn mowing of the year in Varna are going according to schedule. This was reported to the operative today by the mayors of the five districts in the city.
In the “Odessos” region, a large part of the terrain has been mowed. On the eve of the Easter holidays, priority will be given to work around the temples and central gardens, Mayor Emilia Hristova stressed, writes moreto.net.
The spring mowing in the “Primorski” area is also going according to plan, where more than 150 decares of lawns have already been mowed, said Mayor Martin Baramov.
Spring mowing in the “Vladislav Varnenchik” area is in full swing, Mayor Nikolay Kostadinov said. However, due to frequent reports from citizens about places with excessively overgrown grass after the rains, Kostadinov requested that the pace of work and the number of mowers in the area be increased.
The work in “Asparuhovo” is also progressing, where the area and the park have been mowed, and according to the schedule, the mowing of the “Galata” district will follow, assured the mayor Ivaylo Marinov.
In parallel with the mowing in all areas, there is a planned treatment of the grounds against ticks, immediately after mowing the places, the mayors also reported.
Six companies are engaged in the spring mowing of the green areas in Varna. Two companies operate in the largest Varna district “Primorski”, and one of them also serves the district “Vl. Varnenchik”. Two companies carry out the mowing activities in the central region “Odessos” and one company each in the regions “Mladost” and “Asparuhovo”.
Grasslands in all areas are 4353 decares. These include urban gardens, inter-block spaces and green spaces in the dividing lines of boulevards and central streets.
