A female passenger in a car was seriously injured in a traffic accident. A report of the accident was received last night around 21.00 at the ODMVR-Pazardzhik.
According to the initially accepted data, in the area of the 56th kilometer of the Trakia highway in the direction of Plovdiv, a 37-year-old BMW driver from the city of Plovdiv lost control of his vehicle.
The car then left the traffic lane and ended up in a ravine. A car patrol of the “Road Police” sector, an emergency rescue team of RSPBZN-Pazardzhik and “Emergency” were immediately sent to the place.
As a result of the accident, the 50-year-old woman traveling in the car from Plovdiv was more seriously injured. She was transported and admitted to the Medical Center-Pazardzhik with various traumas and injuries, life-threatening.
The driver of the car was tested with technical means, and his samples for the use of alcohol and drugs were negative.
The scene of the accident was inspected by a duty group at RU-Septemvri, pre-trial proceedings are being conducted.
