SU “Vazrazhdane”-Ruse celebrates 148 years since the April Uprising – the heroism and greatness of a people!

Today, 22.04.2024, the students of SU “VAZRAZHDANE” from the 10th and 12th grades, participants in the club “Save the Bulgarian” with the leader Mrs. Mariyana Tsviatkova, students from the 6th grade with the class leader Mrs. Zornitsa Vasileva, the Vocal group “Bell” led by Mrs. Detelina Petrova celebrated 148 years since the April Uprising.

The presenters of the event were the 12th grade students Ventsislav Georgiev and the 10th grade students Pavel Goranov and Simona Tsoneva.

The vocal group “Zvnche” opened the event with the song: “Koi ushi bairaka”.

12th grade students Ventsislav Georgiev and Kaloyan Zhelev and 10th grade students Simona Tsoneva, Pavel Goranov, Hristo Hristov, Dragomir Atanasov, Gabriel Manolov and Mikhail Penev presented the presentation: “April Uprising – 1876”.

The 12th grade student Kaloyan Zhelev presented a presentation about an extraordinary, exceptional, “very tailored” personality, about a genius rebel leader who inspired everyone – Georgi Benkovski

The 6th grade students Radostina Balbuzanova, Semih Nuri and Adelina Drumeva recited: “Poem for the April Uprising”, “Raina Princess” and poems dedicated to the April epic.

Pavel Goranov from 10th grade presented a quiz with interesting questions and facts about the uprising.

The vocal group “Zvnche” finished our event with the song: “Radecki”.

Mrs. Milka Ivanova, a librarian at our school, contributed to the solemn celebration of the anniversary by taking care of the artistic decoration and layout, with various photos, photos telling about the April epic.
