The best “Young Fire Fighter” teams from the region will test their strength and knowledge in Dobrich

Regional stage of the XXIII competition of the youth firefighting squads “Young firefighter” and the XXII student competition “Protection in the event of disasters, fires and emergency situations” is organized by the Regional Directorate “Fire Safety and Protection of the Population” Dobrich.

They aim to raise the culture of adolescents, RDPBZN Dobrich annually works on training them for proper behavior in the event of fires, disasters and emergency situations. They are included in the national calendar plan for extracurricular activities for the academic year 2023/2024.

This year, the competitions are scheduled to take place on May 8 and 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the participation of the teams that ranked first in the municipal rounds. The Junior Firefighter squad competition will be held on May 8 starting at 9:30 a.m. and the practical part of the Disaster, Fire and Emergency Protection competition will be held on May 10 at 10:30 a.m.

The young firefighters will test their strength and knowledge in the “St. George” city park, in the section between the “Lebed” restaurant and the “Isis” complex. If the weather conditions worsen, the competitions will take place in the “Dobrotitsa” sports hall.
