The former head of the capital’s traffic police denied that the footage was authentic

New photos surrounding the smuggling investigation that rocked the country and customs. The website “Epicenter” published a photo of the former head of the capital’s traffic police, Tencho Tenev. On it, he is in the company of former interior minister Boyko Rashkov and accused of participating in a criminal group for smuggling Stefan Dimitrov from Haskovo.

This happened two days after Tenev denied seeing Stefan Dimitrov in Rashkov’s home when he visited him on the air of “Wake Up”. Tenev explained to NOVA that he had seen Stefan Dimitrov several times at the traffic police. After Tenev’s Facebook interview, Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov wrote that “the person Tencho Tenev was also a regular guest at Rashkov’s parties” and added that there Tenev received tasks to discredit him.

After the new photo, distributed on the “Epicenter” website, we asked Tencho Tenev for a comment. “Can’t you see that this picture is a pure collage? I have never visited the Minister of Homewear. Second, they put a bottle of whiskey in front of me – I have never drunk alcohol in my life, let alone sit down to drink. It’s funny. Half of my head is gone, half of the smuggler’s head is gone too. What is this picture, what is this miracle? Apparently, someone is trying to discredit both me and Mr. Rashkov in this way,” commented the former head of the capital’s “Road Police”.
