“Rockmile” with success at the acrobatic rock and roll tournament in Lovech

On Saturday, Lovech welcomed the national tournament in acrobatic rock and roll for the 32nd time, which was contested for the Cup of the Municipality of Lovech and one of the oldest competitions in Bulgaria in this sport.

The competition was held in the sports hall of PEG “Exarch Joseph I” and gathered over a hundred competitors from clubs in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Lovech.

Rocksmile Achievements

“Rocksmile” from Lovech presented seven debutants who are part of the new generation in the club.
With the distinction of two gold medals, one silver and one bronze, the team showed high professionalism and preparedness.

Individual achievements

• In the individual classes among the largest, Ivayla Tsacheva won the cup, Simona Georgieva qualified with a silver medal, and Simona Cerovska debuted with the 4th place.
• Among the smaller participants, Rosina Nanovska ranked fifth, Desislava Decheva sixth, and Vyara Zorkova seventh.

Children’s participation

• Among the children, Raya Dimitrova achieved 4th place, while Silvia Ivanova ranked 11th.
• The youngest participants also showed their skills, with Vyara Simeonova becoming fifth, and debutants Preslava Boeva ​​and Maria Hubanova taking 6th and 7th place.

Duo and formation

• The couple Alexandra Atanasova – Desislava Ljubenova won bronze medals in the “Duo” class.
• Gergana Petrova – Tina Nikolova were very close to the medals and ranked 4th.
• Rockmile’s Z-Rock formation won gold medals in their category.

The awards were presented by the Mayor of Lovech Municipality Stracimir Petkov and Deputy Mayor Dr. Aldin Nachkov, who also opened the tournament and supported the development of sports in the region.
