On the occasion of World Earth Day – April 22, students from the PG in Tourism “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” Kardzhali took part in a competition on the theme: “The earth – our home”, organized by PGEE “Captain Petko voivoda” and ODK Kardzhali.
The competition was held in four rounds and the participants had the difficult task of answering questions related to trivia about the nature of the Earth. Our competitors – Vanessa, Pavel, Yilmaz and Mert performed well and won the first place. The students showed good encyclopedic knowledge and proved that they have versatile interests.
We wish Goldsmiths to always be inquisitive, to keep their competitive spirit and to be worthy citizens of planet Earth.
For the first time this initiative was celebrated in 1970 in the USA and Canada. In 1990, April 22 was declared International Earth Day. The idea that connects people from all over the world is unity in protecting the environment.
This was announced by the management of the high school.
