Students from NU “Hristo Botev” – Pleven returned with medals from the 18th edition of the Children’s and Youth Competition for Singers and Instrumentalists “Folklore Priumitsi” in the city of Cherven Bryag.

On 20.04.2024, more than 110 talented children from 14 settlements, divided into categories, took part in the competition program.

In the section of folk singing, Eva Pankova from the 1st grade won a gold medal with the songs “Dene, Mary” and “Zalubila malka moma”, and Viktor Ivanchev from the 3rd grade and Alexander Kanev from the 2nd grade won silver medals.

All participants were evaluated by a professional jury consisting of: Elka Nedyalkova, Rumen Todorov and Valentin Nedyalkov, professors at Panayot Pipkov National Technical University – Pleven.

Director Tsvetelin Goranov congratulated them on their success and thanked them for preserving and glorifying Bulgarian folklore.
