Part of the fund was shown by the Haskovo gallery “Atanas Sharenkov”. The exhibition was opened last night, it is part of the project “Cultural diversity in Haskovo”, which is implemented with the financial support of the Program PA14 “Cultural entrepreneurship, heritage and cooperation”.
The activity of the project includes the organization of other exhibitions as well as the presentation of the cultural heritage of the region. New systems for hanging pictures have already been installed in the “Atanas Sharenkov” gallery. A picture depot was also built to store the exhibits from the gallery’s rich collection. Until April 28, art connoisseurs can see an exhibition of restored and previously unseen paintings from the fund of the cultural institution. At the opening, visitors were given puzzles with pictures from the gallery’s collection. The goal is to arouse the interest of the public and especially young people in fine art, comments the director of the gallery, Tatyana Foreva. The “Cultural Diversity in Haskovo” project is implemented by the Municipality, the Art Gallery “Atanas Sharenkov” – Haskovo, “Otets Paisiy – 1925” Primary School, Voivodovo village, Haskovo Municipality and North Consulting Ehf, Iceland. The main goal is to stimulate creative social change and the application of an entrepreneurial approach in the management and access to cultural heritage on the territory of Haskovo Municipality.
