60% of the teachers in Gotsedelchevsko have graduated in pedagogy at YuZU-Blagoevgrad

To assure the quality of training and to present current moments under the new circumstances in which the rectoral leadership of Southwestern University “Paisiy Hilendarski” Blagoevgrad, part of the leadership visited Gotse Delchev yesterday. The delegation was led by the rector of the university, Prof. Dr. Nikolay Marin, accompanied by associate professors Iliya Nedin and Vyara Kireva and ch. assistant Dr. Maria Pascaleva. At their request, the municipality organized a meeting with representatives at the level of mayors and deputy mayors of municipalities from the region, principals of secondary schools in Gotsedelchevsko, as well as representatives from public life who are related to education.

“60 percent of all teachers in secondary schools in Gotsedelchevsk have graduated from the “Pedagogy” specialty at SSU Blagoevgrad,” announced the rector, Prof. Dr. Nikolay Marin. “The university has been designated as a regional STEM center and is one of three such centers in the country,” the rector proudly emphasized. STEM (Science – Technology – Engineering – Mathematics) is a method of learning that focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
