An exhibition with the Bulgarian Olympians in natural sciences “My Alarm Clocks” is presented in Pleven today

The exhibition, which is presented with the support of the Municipality of Pleven, will last until May 7

The exhibition “My Alarm Clocks”, which shows the Bulgarian Olympians in natural sciences and their leaders, will be opened in Pleven today. The best Bulgarian students represent our country at the most prestigious International Olympiads in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, linguistics, informatics, astronomy and astrophysics.

The official opening is from 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of the “Katya Popova” hall. The exhibition, which is presented with the support of the Pleven Municipality, will continue until May 7.

4 students from Pleven participated in last year’s Olympic science teams, who won 5 medals for Bulgaria – 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. These are:

Krum Alexandrov (MG “Geo Milev”) – gold medal from the International Chemistry Olympiad and silver medal from the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad;

Mihail Bankov (MG “Geo Milev”) – silver medal from the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics;

Victoria Ivanova (MG “Geo Milev”) – bronze medal from the International Biology Olympiad;

Yasmin Erdim (MG “Geo Milev”) – bronze medal from the European Informatics Olympiad for girls.

In 2023, from all international, European and Balkan Olympiads and competitions, Bulgarian natural science Olympians won 90 medals – 17 of them gold, 32 silver and 41 bronze.

The exhibition was created by FANTASTICO GROUP, the beneficiary of the initiative in 2023 is the Association of Olympic Teams in Natural Sciences (SOOPN).

The “My Wakers” project supports causes and projects in the field of education and culture and presents individuals with outstanding achievements. The initiative is being held for the third year in a row, 150,000 BGN has been donated so far. Pleven is the seventh location where the exhibition “My Alarm Clocks” is presented this year.
