Drivers with handicap stickers park their cars in the parking spaces designated for people with reduced mobility and stay there for days, even weeks. Todor Savov, who lives at 31 Ruse Street in Varna, which is located in the Blue Market area, alerted BNR-Radio Varna about this problem. In this way, they occupy the parking spaces for people with disabilities, Savov pointed out.

It turns out that those who park in the area of the Blue Market and the “Stoyan Bachvarov” Drama Theater in Varna are mainly working people who have stalls and shops, added Todor Savov.

According to him, this problem is observed throughout the city, although the legal limit for parking in such places is three hours.

“There are three disabled spaces on the street in front of the Opera House, they are always occupied by the same cars. One has been standing here for several days,” Savov is outraged.

He and his wife filed reports with OP “Municipal Parking and Blue Zone”, Municipal Police, Traffic Police and First Regional Police Department. “Everyone passes the ball to the other institution. They say that they cannot determine the time for a given car, how long it stays in a given disabled place,” added Todor Savov.
