Yesterday, April 22, 2024, at the Regional Election Commission in Gabrovo, the registration of candidates for the National Assembly elections, scheduled for June 9 this year, began.
On the first day, quite expectedly, no one signed up. The deadline by which those wishing to enter the next Parliament can submit their documents is 5 pm on May 7, 2024. This deadline is valid for the candidate lists of parties and coalitions. Candidates nominated by initiative committees submit documents for registration by April 29.

Before the start of the registration, the regional governor Maria Basheva and the chairman of the Regional Election Commission (REC) Maria Nedeva discussed organizational and technical issues related to the preparation for holding the elections on June 9 and the technical support of the commission.
As before, all decisions and announcements of RIC – Gabrovo are announced on the website – rik07.cik.bg/europe2024, as well as on the information board in front of the commission’s office at 3 “Vazrazhdane” square, west wing.
