Between April 26 to 28 in Yambol, will be held cycling race by Mountain cycling in the discipline cross-country Olympian – Yambol Bike Cup 2024. Organizers of the race are Free Riders United Sports Club, “Concept Creative Crew” and Yambol municipality.
The competition will be held in the specialized area for mountain biking in Borovets Forest Park, which was built in 2022.
Yambol Bike Cup 2024 is the first Bulgarian cross-country race from class 2 in the calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI). Only licensed competitors can participate in it – from children up to 10 years old to veterans. Foreign competitors have already submitted applications, which will make the competition even more contested and interesting.
He is a cross-country Olympian the only Olympic discipline in mountain biking. It is a mass start with a certain number of laps on a course that includes descents and ascents on rough terrain with a circular route. The aim of the cyclists is to complete all the laps as possible the shortest time.
Winners in all categories will receive: up to third place – buy gifts tooin separate categories – cash prizes and gifts, provided by the Municipality of Yambol and partners. The total prize pool is 3600 BGN.
