Vanya Grigorova and the “Solidary Bulgaria” coalition, in which PP “Bulgarian Left”, PP “United Social Democracy” and PP “Stand Up BG” participate, submitted five thousand signatures for registration in the Central Election Commission for the upcoming elections for the National Assembly and for the European parliament on June 9. She announced this to journalists after registering with the CEC.
Grigorova stated that her decision to participate in the upcoming vote was determined by the huge civic energy during the local elections. Then quite a few people supported me and gave me assurance that the messages we had then were heard, said Grigorova.
According to her, these are messages, battles and causes that she has been leading for years. Perhaps the time has come to put an end to this pseudo-elite mandate that has ruled us for years. We see that the professional politicians have been keeping the country in chaos for nine months now – “assembly”, “disassembly”, now after these elections, in the absence of any alternative, I expect the next “assembly”, added Grigorova. According to her, it is obvious that after the elections are over, we can expect exactly the same.
When asked about the “swarming of political formations on the left”, Grigorova commented that this does not invalidate it. The fights in one of the parties, which is the main one, weakens it, the search for an “enemy with a party ticket” weakens it, she said and pointed to what happened with the Sofia organization of the BSP. We cannot leave left-wing voters and working people to the pseudo-elites, Grigorova pointed out.
Regarding Ninova’s accusations that she had lied four times, Vanya Grigorova stated that she prefers not to answer to Mrs. Ninova. Let me not be her opponent and she is not my opponent. After all, if we have the same goals, we should be working in the same direction, she pointed out. If she is used to fighting with her like-minded members within the party, if she is used to ostracizing her members and throwing them out, this is not my approach, added Grigorova, BTA reported.
Grigorova’s coalition uses the name of the left-wing platform in which she participates together with the former chief of staff of the President Rumen Radev Ivo Hristov. The main coalition partner is the movement of former ombudsman Maya Manolova “Stand Up BG”. However, Manolova did not come to the registration.
