Dimitar Ivanov hired craftsmen for the repair of the square in his native Manole, swallowed 330,000 BGN

Irregularities were discovered by the mayor of Maritsa municipality, Dimitar Ivanov, during the inspection of the square in his native village of Manole. He did not like the stacked slabs and made a sharp remark to the builders, obliging them to fix their gaps.

Three months after the start of the renovation, the square of Manole is almost ready, small details remain, and for Easter the residents of the large Plovdiv village can say hello to a renewed central space with an area of ​​3000 square meters. The launch deadline was for the end of March, but the weather did not allow it to be completed.

The pavement has been replaced, the driveways have been made. The funds for the repair come from the “Agriculture” state fund and are in the amount of BGN 330,000. The existing trees are preserved, there is also new vegetation. Separate playground for children from 3 to 12 years old. Shock-absorbing flooring is currently being installed.

The park will also have a fitness area with a Swedish wall, as well as a multi-functional exercise machine.

Two chessboards measuring 70×172 cm, built with metal structures, have been placed. The installation of a fountain with LED lighting and a pump is pending, explained the mayor of Manole, Stoil Dishev. He did not hide that the reconstruction of the space in front of the cultural center in the village is also connected with some problems during the construction activities. “There is lifting of tiles that need to be corrected. There are also unevenness on the footpath, which will hinder the passage of people with disabilities. Corrections will also be made to landscaping,” assured Dishev.

There are still finishing works on the renovation of the space in front of the cultural center in Manole. The installation of benches, the placement of waste bins and signs to the areas in the park is expected.
