  • Vanya Grigorova is a player, but in some other game. It’s not on the left. She is in no way different from all those ungrateful people who use the BSP as a carrier, and then become its fiercest critics and destroyers. However, they have a common political future – in nothing
  • It is entirely possible that we go into a spiral of elections, but it would be extremely irresponsible. The only correct solution is a supra-party, expert government with broad parliamentary support, said the deputy chairman of the BSP:

– Mr. Zafirov, you are submitting a vote of no confidence in the caretaker government, but lawyers are adamant that you have no legal basis for this. Is it a PR move, or have you found a loophole in the constitution that allows you to ask for this vote?

– Is this government really official, or is it a government of GERB and Borisov? Because there is no way a government in which the prime minister is a bright political figure, a former speaker of the National Assembly, removed from office because of taking away the word of the leader of the opposition, with a foreign minister proposed by him, deputy head of GERB and immediate appointments of cadres of this party at all levels, to be designated as official. Since it is not official in nature, why can’t the National Assembly ask for it to be removed? You mention the constitution – is it written somewhere that the ministers take an oath in the parliament? But they did it in front of the people’s representatives. Therefore

these same people’s representatives can discredit them and send them to correctional facilities.

– When do you expect the vote to be held, since the parliament will work only until Friday?

– If there is a good will, the SC can work overtime and do its job. This story of ending work on Friday also disgusts people – they changed the constitution supposedly with the motive of having parliamentary control over the government until the last, and now suddenly they go on vacation. Great fear shakes the new administration and they are rushing to shut our mouths, but they will not succeed!

– Have you held talks with the other groups, for example PP-DB, and do you have a chance to turn ITN, who have already said that they will not support it? Because otherwise the math shows that even if it comes to a vote, the vote will not pass.

– We haven’t had any conversations –

who is a true representative of the people and does not feel part of the new assembly, will support us

Whoever wants to wince and hide behind poorly written texts will get their reward in less than two months at the election!

– And how will you approach the procedure for the resignation of Rosen Zhelyazkov, where you also do not have enough votes – will you also look for the PP-DB for this and do you expect support from them?

– The answer is the same. The PP-DB are the biggest culprits of the GERB model, against which hundreds of thousands of us were in the squares, not only to be reproduced, but also to be even stronger and more frightening. Betrayal of principles and ideas in politics is punished very severely.

– What do you expect from these elections, for which the BSP has been insisting for a long time, after sociologists give almost the same configuration in the next parliament?

– For a long time now, I have not believed in sociological studies which, in one day, give differences of 4-5% for the same political force, according to the sponsor of the survey. I believe in my sociology based on my daily encounters with people. The next parliament will have a radically different configuration and BSP will have a key role in it! The assembly, or rather elements of it, will suffer a heavy electoral blow.

– Will we again enter a spiral of elections due to the impossibility of forming a stable parliamentary majority in the 50th NA as well? Many are predicting another vote in the fall.

– It is entirely possible, but it would be extremely irresponsible. We have seen what ugly governance the series of elections has led to, so we continue to believe that the only correct solution is a cross-party, expert government with broad parliamentary support.

– In these elections, a new player enters on the left – Vanya Grigorova. What do your polls show how hard it will hit the BSP?

– Vanya Grigorova is a player, but in some other game. I have no idea where she comes in and out, but on the left she is not. A person who promises to raise nurses’ wages, when in fact his first job is to raise his own salary several times over, cannot represent the interests of people on the left. He cannot be a left-wing person who, for one more committee, embraced the Taliban – destroyers of monuments and destroyers of memory.

He can’t be a left-handed person, who fiercely attacks the largest left party, without which he would dream place in the municipal council

of Sofia, as he once dreamed of one in the European Parliament. In fact, Grigorova is in no way different from all those ungrateful people who use the BSP as a carrier, and then become the most furious? critics and detractors. However, they have a common political future – in nothing.

– Will you partner with her group if she enters the National Assembly?

– Your question is absolutely pointless, because there will be no such group.

– Wasn’t it better to collect all the debris on the left, and not to appear on 3 tracks – BSP, “Levitsata”, Vanya Grigorova? I know you have the self-confidence that the BSP is the leading party on the left, but whatever results these two formations have, they will be at your expense.

– We do not collect debris.

They deal with the debris garbage disposal companies.

Whoever does not want to be swept away by the broom of history is invited to return. BSP is a wise party – it can punish, but it can also forgive. The most important thing now is to really stop the treasonous rule and the new robbery that is on the horizon. And this can only be done with joint efforts, but based on principles and a strong pro-Bulgarian foundation.

– On what principle did you choose the parties with which you will form this left front? Who are they, why are you hiding them?

– We are not hiding anything, the talks are public, we have a proven partnership with most of these parties over the years, the principle is one – protection of the Bulgarian national interest, social sensitivity, mutual respect and loyalty. It’s simple.

– Why is the “Left” not among them?

– Because apparently it does not meet the criteria and because there the left is only in the assigned name. But for the people of the so-called left, all our former comrades, members of the party, the door of the BSP is wide open and we call on them to return to the authentic left.

– However, the famous persons of the “Left” rejected the offer of amnesty. And most of the members of these parties were not in the BSP, why did you decide to cross them out as potential partners?

– This is their right, but one thing should be known – every vote for such formations is a vote of the wind – they do not enter the parliament, tear pieces from the authentic left, work against the country having a powerful left alternative and ultimately serve anti-people interests. This is also a reference to your previous question about the “players” in politics. They are there, they are clearly doing harm, I feel sorry for the well-intentioned and misled people who cast their votes in vain. Our appeal is to them, the “famous faces” are clear…

– Why does it happen that in recent years the left, and in particular the BSP, continues to swarm? Where is “Positano” wrong and why are you not taking steps to collect?

– Because there are powerful economic and financial structures that have embedded themselves in the state administration and do not want Bulgaria to have a strong, left-wing, popular pro-Bulgarian party. Whenever a left-steer condition is created, braking mechanisms are activated. This is easily verifiable historically and I can back it up with many examples. In the beginning, it was new populist parties, when this mechanism ran out, they set in motion the breaking of the BSP from within. It is very difficult to fight such forces – they have unlimited budgets, influence, media, even ordinary hitmen if you will.

A goal is set – smashing and mastering BSP – the last unconquered party – and the methods are irrelevant

This is the most accurate explanation, combined, of course, with personal stories of unsatisfied egos, leadership ambitions, and so on. But they too are skilfully guided and nurtured by the same behind-the-scenes writers. The result is visible.

– I am very interested, will these new coalition partners of yours, which you gather on May 1, find a place in your lists? And how will this happen since you are approving your lists before then – on April 27th?

– Of course they will find, as they always have. On the 1st of May we will meet to give a request to govern the country clothed in a common declaration, but long before that our bilateral agreements will be finalised, and

our allies will have found theirs worthy place in our consolidated lists

It is literally a matter of days before this happens.

– I know that there are many and different interpretations about whether Cornelia Ninova can run for leader again. According to her opponents, a third term would be unconstitutional. What is your interpretation of the statute?

– There are currently two major crises in Bulgarian society – a crisis of confidence and a crisis of leadership. Cornelia Ninova has shown in recent years that she can be a leader not only of her party, but also of society, which expects from its leaders a consistent and clear policy in defense of national interests above all. She will decide whether she will run for BSP chairman, but if we talk about trust, she has it both from the team she leads and from the rank-and-file party members. And this is the most important thing for me!

And with regard to the statute, after its change and the introduction of direct election in the party, Mrs. Ninova has the right to one more term as chairman of the BSP!

– You won the BSP in Sofia – does this put an end to Ninova’s internal opposition?

– There is no opposition and there never was. There were excessive ambitions of a leadership that had lost touch with the party. The result showed it.

– Do you expect a split in the structure?

– Not only do I not expect a split, but I expect that the Sofia organization will finally live up to its historical and party responsibilities as the largest and most solid structure of the BSP in the country.
