Kalina Toneva and Velizara Hristova are students at NUI “Dobri Hristov”, 12th grade, with piano teacher Elena Nedeva.
Kalina Toneva is the winner of the First Prize of the XVIII DUF “A Tale of You” – Varna (2017), First Prize of the IV – 3rd International Art Competition “Art, Talents, Sea” – Albena (2023), Third Prize of the International Art Competition “Joy on the Shore” ” – Sozopol (2023), soloist in a concert of the Varna Philharmonic with conductor Petar Tuleshkov (2024) She participated in the master classes of Prof. Dr. Borislava Taneva and Dr. Stefan Chaplikov.
Velizara Hristova is the winner of the II prize of the IV International Competition “Art, Talents, Sea” – Albena (2023), she participated in a master class of Prof. Dr. Borislava Taneva.
Both young performers are awarded by the XIV International Competition “Fr. Schubert”, category “Piano Ensembles” – Ruse (2023 d.) and participate in concerts under the patronage of NUI “Dobri Hristov” and NMA “Pancho Vladigerov”.
On April 24, at 7:00 p.m., they will perform their graduation concert in the City Art Gallery. In the program, you will hear: J. S. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Bortkovich, P. Vladigerov, Shostakovich.
