Today, the municipal councilors supported the next step for the construction of a new school in the “Kraimorie” district, which will create suitable conditions for the education of children from the Burgas district.

“There is no greater satisfaction for a mayor than to work for the creation of another new school! Today, a big step was taken for the realization of the project for the new school of Burgas! It will be in the “Kraimorie” district and will be a branch of the “Alexander Georgiev – Kodjakafaliyata” elementary school. It will be located meters from the sea, and today the Municipal Council approved the agreement with PK “Narcoop” to release part of the neighboring land, so that we can proceed to the next step in the implementation of the project. I have many ideas for this school, including the use of the summer by students as a base for sea sports and the acquisition of various sea skills”, said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

The new Burgas school will be built in the “Kraimorie” quarter and will be a branch of the “Alexander Georgiev – Kodjakafaliyata” elementary school. At the first stage, it is planned that the school will have 9 classrooms, specialized offices, a gym and a swimming pool, areas for administrative and support staff, separate areas in the courtyard, etc.

In recent years, Kraimorie district has become an attractive and rapidly developing area, given its proximity to the city and its natural features. There is no built and functioning school in the neighborhood, and there are no other existing educational institutions nearby, and this undoubtedly creates transportation and time inconveniences for both parents and students.

Currently, more than 80 children from the neighborhood from the first to the seventh grade have to attend educational institutions mainly in the CGCH, which further deepens the problems related to the lack of free places in the schools in this part of the city. The construction of the new school in Kraimorie quarter will give students the opportunity not to travel every day and will relieve the capacity of schools in the city center.
