They accused Dinko Valev of participating in an organized criminal group

The Yambol District Prosecutor’s Office brought charges against Dinko Valev, known as the Refugee Hunter, and two other men for participating in an organized criminal group. Valev is currently in a Burgas hospital and is expected to be discharged in order to be brought under criminal responsibility.

The organized criminal group operated from October 2021 to April 16, 2024, and its leader was Mr. Valev, according to the press release of the prosecutor’s office.

During the investigation, it was established that the participants of the group forced various persons to perform actions against their will, using threats to the life, health and property of the victims. According to unofficial information, the group blackmailed drivers of tires that used Dinko Valev’s repatriation cars.

Currently, two of the participants in the criminal group are permanently in custody, and Dinko Valev will be detained after his discharge from the hospital.
