Ceremonial graduation of the Class of 2023 bachelors and masters of the Faculty of Education

On 19.04.2024, the Dean’s leadership of the Faculty of Education, its teachers and administration solemnly sent off their graduates who completed one of the degrees of higher education in the academic year 2022-2023.

The ceremony was held in the new Sports Hall of the Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv at Bulgaria Blvd. No. 236A, and the diplomas were handed out in the auditoriums of the New Building after the official part.

The dean of the faculty – Prof. Dr. Vladimira Angelova and vice-rector in charge of quality and attestation addressed a short greeting to his students, wishing them a life full of meaning, kindness and exploits.

Special guests at the event were the Minister of Education Prof. Dr. Galin Tsokov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boryan Yanev – Deputy Rector in charge of International Activities and Public Relations and Professor Ph.D. Rumyana Tankova – head of the Social Work Department and recent vice-rector and long-time dean of the Faculty of Education.

After the short greetings, there was an oath ritual, which is an established tradition of the Faculty of Education and is a solemn promise to use science in the name of humanizing the world.

This was followed by musical greetings by students from the “Pedagogy of Music Education”, “Music” and “Jazz and Pop Performing Arts” majors, and the ceremonial handing over of diplomas, plaques and certificates to the honorees of the graduating class personally by the dean of the Faculty of Education and vice-rector of Plovdiv University “Paisiy Hilendarski” – Prof. Dr. Vladimira Angelova.
