More than 120 educational companies from eight countries will participate in “TF 2024 – Young Entrepreneur” in Plovdiv

More than 100 educational companies from eight countries will participate in the 27th edition of the International Fair of Educational Enterprises “TF 2024 – Young Entrepreneur”. This was announced by the International Fair – Plovdiv. It will be held on April 25 and 26.
The forum will be officially opened on Thursday, April 25, at 11:00 a.m. in Chamber No. 6. The organizers are the Ministry of Education and Science, the Center for Educational and Training Companies, the association “Bulgarian Training Center” and the Plovdiv International Fair.
Companies from Bulgaria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro will participate in the exhibition. They are from different fields of activity: banking and insurance, wholesale and retail trade in various food and non-food goods, tourism services and catering, information technology and advertising, consulting services, accounting, manufacturing, education and others.
For the second year, the event will be held in a hybrid format – both live and online. Training companies will have the opportunity for virtual negotiations and deals, and visitors will be able to shop online in 60 stores created on the TF FEST online platform.
The two-day program of the event is saturated with numerous competitions, including for the best stand, team and professional service, catalog and advertising materials, website, presentation, protection of intellectual property, cooperation with a mentor company. Miss and Mr TF FEST will also be chosen. Part of the TF FEST competitions are based on real business assignments and are evaluated by a jury appointed by them. Thus, representatives of business, state administration and the non-governmental sector will assess the key competences and specific skills of pupils and students acquired in the educational enterprise.
The Ministry of Education and Science will hold a Round Table on “The Social Economy – Social and Youth Entrepreneurship”.
In Bulgaria, training in educational and training companies as a modern model for connecting education, business and the non-governmental sector has been held since 1994. With the curricula of 2009, this form of practical vocational education and training became part of the compulsory curriculum of vocational high schools with various specialties. Today, the network of Bulgarian educational enterprises unites over 330 school and student companies throughout the country. Every year, 5,000 new pupils and students undergo training in an educational enterprise.
TF FEST is part of the BRIDGE project – cooperation with the Western Balkans for learning based on youth work, Erasmus+ program. The two-day forum will be visited by the project partners: PEN Worldwide – World Network of Learning Enterprises, Germany, CSO – Center for Vocational Education, Montenegro, MESTI – Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Kosovo, ESC – School of Economics – Čacak, Serbia , CPCD – Center for the Promotion of Civil Society, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
