On Wednesday, April 24 (6:45 p.m.), Ludogorets hosts Hebar Pazardzhik in the first 1/2-final clash between the two teams from the Bulgarian Cup tournament.
*The second leg at the “Georgi Benkovski” stadium is scheduled for May 2.
Heber doesn’t stand a chance, according to the stats
This rivalry does not have a long history – Razgrad and Pazardzhiklia have met only four times, with each of the matches so far being part of First League.
Judging by the results in them, the team of Luboslav Penev has an illusory chance of dethroning the 3-time trophy winner!
The “Eagles” have a 100 percent asset – 4 wins, and have scored a total of 15 goals, allowing at the same time only 2 in their goal:
- 09/4/2022 Ludogorets 6:0 Hebar Pazardjik (round #9)
- 18.03.2023 Hebar Pazardjik 1:3 Ludogorets (round #24)
- 29.10.2023 Ludogorets 3:1 Heber Pazardjik (round #15)
- 20.04.2024 Hebar Pazardjik 0:3 Ludogorets (round #30)
It should not be forgotten, however, that statistics are not everything, and that in the 1/8 finals in the current season, Heber eliminated not just anyone, but the capital city Levski (with 2:1).
