The World Book and Copyright Day was celebrated in the “Zora 1990” community center – Pobeda village with a creative meeting with the young and talented Bulgarian author Ioana Valcheva, the community center reports. The guests of the literary meeting were Daniela Alexandrova – Mayor of the village of Pobeda, Galya Kucheva and Detelina Tincheva from the “Neofit Rilski” Primary School, Trastenik, Zhivko Dimitrov and Vaska Rusanova from the “Prosveta” Primary School, Dolna Mitropolia, Veska Krasteva from the “Nauka” Primary School the village of Komarevo, Galya Dimitrova from the “Iskra” village of Gorna Mitropolia and Gergana Hristova from the Dolna Mitropolia – Dolni Dabnik MIG.
The author defines the genre in which she writes as a romantic thriller. Joana Valcheva presented her three published novels “Conscience”, “Pegol” and “Messenger of the Crescent”, which have many readers and followers. The young and beautiful writer knows how to create strong characters, whose images are imprinted for a long time in the minds of every reader who has met them. She told the local audience about her huge success, the novel “Messenger of the Crescent” participating for the first time at the London Book Fair and among the titles presented at the Bulgarian stand.
A casual conversation and an impromptu interview with the author followed, after which everyone who wanted to buy one of her autographed books.
At the end of the meeting, as a sign of gratitude for the magical creative meeting and the exciting moments experienced, the talented author was presented with flowers and souvenirs, hand-decorated by the children working in the community center.
