One hundred children’s football teams gather at the centennial anniversary of Arda

This year’s edition of the annual international tournament organized by the Arda 1924 Football Academy will be special. The event, which every year delights thousands of children from the country and abroad, will be dedicated to the century anniversary of the beloved club.

The academy with president Alyosha Sinabov has prepared a bunch of surprises for its graduates and their parents throughout 2024. The first of them is precisely a tournament with the participation of exactly one hundred teams. The boys will compete in two stages in different age groups – children born between 2013 and 2019 and girls – between 2009 and 2016.

At the end of May and the beginning of June, guests are expected to arrive in the city by the Arda River from: Edirne (Turkey), Komotini (Greece), Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Kyustendil, Haskovo, Dimitrovgrad, Asenovgrad, Svilengrad, Krumovgrad, Zhitnitsa, Velingrad, Jebel, Momchilgrad, Yasno Pole, Skutare and Markovo.

President Alyosha Sinabov thanked all those who supported the tournament and the academy, wished the children and their parents that the anniversary year would bring them at least a hundred honors, at least a hundred reasons for joy and smiles and a hundred times more happy moments together.
