In Pleven, they opened an exhibition with the Bulgarian Olympians in natural sciences “My Alarm Clocks”. Among them are four graduates of the “Geo Milev” Mathematics High School in the city.

Four students from Pleven participated in last year’s Olympic natural science teams, who won five medals for Bulgaria – one gold, two silver and two bronze. These are:

  • Krum Alexandrov – gold medal from the International Chemistry Olympiad and silver medal from the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad;
  • Mihail Bankov – silver medal from the International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics;
  • Victoria Ivanova – bronze medal from the International Biology Olympiad;
  • Yasmin Erdim – bronze medal from the European Informatics Olympiad for girls.

Elina Dimitrova, Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, greeted them:

“We are proud of them and wish them future success. We believe that they are our future and that there will be other students from the Mathematics High School who will be their successors.”

The author of the photos in the project is the photographer Kostadin Krastev – Koko. The exhibition can be seen in the lobby of the “Katya Popova” hall.
