The Municipality of Ruse is collecting proposals for the “Ruse” and “Young Creator” awards

The Municipality of Ruse is collecting proposals for the “Ruse” and “Young Creator” awards, which are presented annually at a solemn ceremony on the eve of May 24. The deadline expires on May 10 this year, the organizers announced from the town hall in the Danube city.
The “Ruse” award honors creators, actors, creative teams with merit in the fields of art and culture, education and science for a significant contribution to raising the authority of Ruse. It is awarded in two areas – “Art and Culture” and “Education and Science”.
Those honored with the “Ruse” award will receive a bronze statuette designed by sculptor Georgi Radulov and a diploma.
BTA reminds that a total of seven prizes were awarded last year.
The “Young Artist” award recognizes young Ruse artists in the field of arts and culture under the age of 30 with high creative and artistic achievements. It was established in memory of the actors – daughter and father, Jana and Georgi Stefanovi, and is accompanied by a sum of money in the amount of 600 BGN and an award badge provided by their family.
The prize last year went to Preslav Lambev from the National School of Arts “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” in Ruse for outstanding creative achievements as a performer and winning awards from national and international competitions.
