They discuss changes in the municipal structure in Silistra, which will be discussed at tomorrow’s meeting. This is reported by the Municipal Council.
A reduction in the number of management personnel, the number of directorates and the number of departments is foreseen. The report provides to reduce the number of municipal staff by 11 full-time employees.
At the expense of this, the mayor is foreseen to be assisted by three deputy mayors – Deputy Mayor “Finance and Economy”, Deputy Mayor “Humanitarian Activities” and Deputy Mayor “Territory Planning and Municipal Property”.
They pass to the direct subordinates of the mayor of the municipality Legal Directorate, Accounting and Control Department, European Projects and Programs Department, Chief Architect and Internal Audit Unit.
The proposal has been submitted by the mayor Alexander Sabanov and the purpose of the project is to ensure compliance of the structural units in the administration, the functional duties and responsibilities of those working in them, to improve their coordination with a view to increasing its efficiency, as well as to apply in practice the requirements of Art. 5, para. 2 and 3 of the Administration Act.
