The municipal council in Burgas postponed the giving of an appetizing property to Lili Ivanova

At the next meeting, it will become clear whether Lili Ivanova will become the long-term owner of an appetizing plot of land in the Sea Garden of Burgas, reported a reporter of Burgas24.bg.

As we reported, the foundation of the Bulgarian primate wants to rent for a period of 10 years an object that over the years was home to cult Burgas discotheques and restaurants. In the very heart of Primorski Park, the vocal singer wants to set up a multifunctional cultural center called Saloon LI.

The municipal councilors today postponed their decision until the next meeting of the Municipal Council, due to a number of issues that need to be clarified. Ivo Baev from GERB asked how many square meters will be rented out – 62 or 500. It is also not clear how much money will be invested in the property and for what. He suspects that after the expiration of the 10-year term, the municipality will receive a depreciated building.

Hristina Hadjiatanasova from PP/DB stated that it is not clear why the report was not entered by the manager of Public Works, but by the Municipal Administration. She added that at the moment, the cases related to the previous tenants have been closed, the receivables have not been collected and have already been written off. It is not clear why the site has not been rented out for so long.

“It is not clear what the amount of investments will be and what the rent will be. It is not clear how many years BKS will not have a profit. It is not clear what the foundation’s investments will be,” she added.

Mariela Kirova from KOD BG VAZHOD was of the opinion that the opportunity to create a cultural center in the heart of the Sea Garden is positive for the city.
