145 free reader cards for the 145th year of Ivan Vazov National Bank

The first in a series of library tours will be held on May 16

145 free reader cards will be distributed on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the founding of the “Ivan Vazov” National Library. During the remaining months until the end of the year, a series of events will be organized – book reviews, authors’ presentations, literary meetings, concerts.

“We will give Plovdiv residents and guests of the city a series of library tours under the title “About the Library from the first person”. They will be held once a month, and lovers of books and reading will have the opportunity to sign up for them, to hear the stories of librarians from different departments about their personal experiences related to work, they will get to know the history of the cultural institution. At the end of each tour, participants will be able to receive a one-year reader’s card for free,” the library management announced.

The beginning of the initiative will be set in the month of May within the framework of the National Library Week. The first of the series of tours will be held on May 16 at 10:30 am. Pre-registration is at e-mail: [email protected]
