The district court in Plovdiv released Ivan Kapitana, who was caught driving with more than 3 per thousand. Judge Katsarev did not impose any restraining order on the head of the “Vagabond’s MC” motorcycle club. The prosecutor’s office, however, will appeal the decision to the District Court.
“He admitted his guilt. He urgently had to go to his mother in connection with his child. That’s all he shared,” commented his lawyer Orlin Tarnovaliyski.
When asked by a journalist whether charges have been filed for an accident with bodily harm, the defender indicated that at this stage there is none. “There are no defendants for the traffic accident, no evidence of bodily injuries. There is only evidence in the case that a woman was crying. She visited a hospital and nothing was established,” said the lawyer. Turnovalyski.
The representative of the prosecution, Elena Bogdanova, stated that at this stage there is no way to bring a charge of bodily injury. The woman was operated on yesterday, there is no information from the hospital about her condition. “At the moment, we do not have forensic medical expertise, on the basis of which to establish the mechanism and method of receiving the trauma and its type,” the prosecutor pointed out. The prosecution will protest the decision of Judge Katsarev, and probably then there will be information about the injured person.
