The Academy of the International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films from June 20 to 23 in Varna

A new French film will be presented during the opening of the Academy of the International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films, organized by the BRC and the Medical University, which will take place from June 20 to 23 in Varna. This was announced at a press conference by Iliya Raev, regional chairman of the BCH in the maritime capital.

The program includes morning discussions, afternoon activities and creative workshops, as well as film screenings in the building of Radio Varna and in the cultural space “ReBonkers.

The discussion will be dedicated to everyday humanism and the self-perception of man in the conditions of crisis, and Prof. Ivo Hristov, Tatiana Doncheva, Encho Gospodinov and Prof. Mihail Nedelchev will participate in it. The other topic of the discussion is dedicated to the mental health of society and new trends in communication between people, with the participation of experts Prof. Tatiana Burudzhieva, Dr. Tsveteslava Galabova and Diana Ovcharova.

On the last day, the focus of the debates within the Academy is social innovations, with the participation of Vladislav Nikolov, organizer of the “I believe and help” campaign, the creator of the association “There are no impossible things” Diana Nasteva and the rapper Yavor Yanakiev (100 kilos), popular with their donations to social institutions and causes.

Environmental initiatives are also planned, announced the director Alexander Nikolov, who also presented the highlights of the film program at the forum.

During the Academy, a special program will also be presented with award-winning titles of the International Red Cross Festival and health films from all years since its inception.

In the briefing dedicated to the event, the chairman of the BCHK academician Hristo Grigorov, the general director of the BCHK Prof. Krasimir Gigov, the chairman of the General Assembly of the Medical University in Varna Prof. Krasimir Ivanov and the rector of the educational institution Prof. Dimitar Raykov took part.
