The exhibition is exhibited in the 130-year-old fully restored building of the Vidin Synagogue, which today has been transformed into the Jules Paskin Cultural Center. The exhibition is entitled “The Architectural Heritage of Vidin and the Region” and is carried out with the assistance of the Municipality of Vidin. Nearly 40 watercolor paintings are presented, which show the medieval castle “Baba Vida”, the renovated Synagogue, the cathedral “St. VMC Dimitar Solunski”, Osman Pazvantoglu Mosque, Stambol Kapia and a number of others.

The idea of ​​the exhibition is to provoke interest in architectural monuments, buildings and ensembles that convey the charm of past eras, educate and maintain a sense of belonging to the environment in which we live, said at the opening, arch. Belin Mollov. He added that every building has its own history and destiny, created by the inspiration of a certain creative person, about which we should know and honor. Arch. Mollov shared that the greatest experience he had with regard to a monument was at the opening of the renovated Vidin Synagogue.

Arch. Last year, Mollov specially provided his works with the most famous sights from the city and the region, which the Municipality of Vidin used to make a calendar for 2024.

Arch. Belin Mollov is one of the established artists-architects, with a contribution to the preservation of the architectural memory of Bulgaria. Favorite objects in his works are iconic Bulgarian houses and places, as well as famous architectural landmarks in Spain, Germany, Romania, Greece and others. He has 55 years of experience in the field of urban planning and urban development.

The event at the Jules Paskin Cultural Center was attended by the mayor Dr. Tsvetan Tsenkov, municipal councilors, colleagues of architect Mollov, directors of cultural institutions, citizens. Among those who came to pay their respects to the author were Mikhail Mikov, former chairman of the National Assembly and prof. .Vili Lilkov.

The exposition in the Cultural Center can be viewed until May 15 of this year.
