Vidin student is the best in Bulgaria in applied electronics

The 11th Ivaylo Georgiev from PG “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” Vidin is the best competitor in Bulgaria in applied electronics. He won the first place in the individual ranking in the “I Can and I Know How” National Applied Electronics Competition, and the team of Ivaylo and Svetoslav Tsvetkov ranked second in the country.

At the moment we are the leaders in the country and this is our 29th cup and this is a source of pride for us, says engineer Boryana Borisova, a teacher of electronics and computer technology who has been training teams for 13 years:

” Now we are coming back with first place individually and second place as a team, which is a great pride for us, there are 57 professional high schools behind us. We are currently the leaders in terms of prizes in Bulgaria, this is our 29th cup, there are no others like us. With many hard work and desire we achieve everything.We prepare mainly in the electronics clubs..When we get into the first 6 we fight for 1st or 2nd place and then the preparation begins.11th grade is the hardest level, with difficult tasks and the time for solving the tasks is very little…We are preparing further…”

The 11th Ivaylo Georgiev from PG “Prof Dr. Asen Zlatarov” Vidin is the best competitor in Bulgaria in applied electronics. He won first place in the individual standings in the “I Can and I Know How” National Applied Electronics Competition and shares:

“I’m quite happy for what I’ve achieved, after so much work, it paid off, it was worth it…It was more difficult in theory this year, but in practice it’s easier as I have more experience…You need persistence and persistence , and also calmness of the competition and not to rush, so as not to mess something up… We continue and next year we will participate again.”


As a team, Svetoslav Tsvetkov and Ivaylo Georgiev are in second place in the country, this is the first competition for Svetli, here is his comment:

“It was my first year, I had to study more, it was interesting…When I don’t know, I ask the lady and Ivailo, I’m happy with the second place.”

The head of the team, Eng. Boryana Borisova, was awarded by the Ministry of Education and Culture with another plaque for her contribution to professional education, for her good professional training, and for her work as a coach.
