Bulgaria will be represented at the inaugural Fashioning Power, Fashioning Peace fashion show and gala on May 6, 2024 at the House of President Woodrow Wilson. The Embassy of Bulgaria in the USA announced this on its Facebook page.

Ambassador Georgi Panayotov currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson House, a National Historic Trust in Washington, DC.

Bulgaria will participate with a Golden Goddess dress, an author’s number by Nevena Couture.

“Meticulously handcrafted from the finest materials: carefully positioned layers of the finest French Couture lace with metallic threads, magical organza, Couture tulle with threads and double-faced silk taffeta and soft invisible tulle. It is a true gem of creativity, defined by its eternal value,” notes our Embassy in Washington in its announcement.

The exhibition will showcase authentic clothing from over 30 different countries, each symbolizing power, diplomacy and tangible cultural heritage, our mission statement notes.

The event coincides with the Met Gala in New York. It will take place on May 6, 2024 between 18:00 and 21:00 local time.
