Something rarely seen happened in a country neighboring Bulgaria.

The reason is sand from the Sahara.
Dust from the Sahara is not the first time to color the sky. Usually this happens in late spring or early autumn, climatologists explain, writes novinite.bg.
“This is due to warmer air that has taken over the central parts of the continent and on its periphery from the south, such dry air with dust particles from the Sahara is quickly transported. Due to the wind that is created, these dust particles rise to heights, carried over the Central European countries”, the specialists used to say, when we also witnessed a similar phenomenon.
