Evrotrust, the company behind the Bulgarian National Electronic Identification Scheme, for the second year in a row brought together the leaders of the technological and financial sectors in Bulgaria at the Evrotrust Live! event. It provided a platform to discuss current and future trends in e-services, with an emphasis on the latest in improving customer experience and security. The conference was attended by over 100 key figures from the fields of technology and finance, including heads of leading companies in Bulgaria and Europe.

“The main goal of the Evrotrust Live! series of events is the creation of a unified network that allows digitalization leaders to share best practices and knowledge and to strengthen Bulgaria’s position as a center for innovation,” announced Konstantin Bezukhanov during the opening session , executive director of Evrotrust.

The event also offered a panel discussion on strategies to address identity fraud, featuring Vanya Manova, Regional Manager for Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo at Mastercard; Irina Yaneva, Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Law Firm, and Assoc. Dr. Manyu Moravenov, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. The panelists discussed how businesses can adapt their digital strategies to protect themselves from new fraud threats and to respond to changes in new regulations.
