Folk emotions, beloved folk songs and a wonderful end to the working week await you!
Folk Choir “Trepetlika” at the Center for Support and Personal Development – Burgas was established in 1996 with the aim of popularizing Bulgarian folklore among the younger generation. Thus, children get to know the priceless cultural heritage of our ancestors. His repertoire includes traditional and processed folklore from all folklore regions of Bulgaria, but mostly from the region of Strandzha and Thrace. The conductor of the “Trepetlika” choir since its inception is Pepa Zapryanova – an established music pedagogue with many distinctions in the field of music, holder of the title “Rilski Neophyte” of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the “Captain Petko Voivoda” order.
The performers of the “Trepetlika” choir and their conductor Pepa Zapryanova are winners of numerous awards from international choir festivals and competitions.
In 1999, a formation was created – “Colored Strings”, in which children from 5-10 years old sing traditional Bulgarian folklore. A few days ago, the children’s folklore formation at the CPRL-Burgas performed excellently at the national folklore competitions held in Burgas and the village of Debelt. They won first place at the VI National Competition “With the songs of Kalinka Zgurova”. Fat.
