War in Vratsa! Auto repair shops jumped on their colleagues, asking brutal questions

A war between car repair shops in Vratsa is about to blow up the apparent calm in the industry, BulNews agency monitoring found.
The reason for the tension that has arisen is the way Auto Bozh car center, which recently opened on Krivodolsko shosse, works.
A few days ago, the fees for going through an annual technical inspection /GTP/ were raised throughout the country from 40 to 70 BGN, and in some cases the price is 80-90 BGN. All car repair shops in Vratsa raised their prices, except for Auto Bozh, which remained at the old price.
For the rest of the industry, this is not a problem. Everyone can work as they want, as long as it is within the law.
The problem, however, is that the standard procedure for inspecting 1 car takes about 30 minutes, while at Auto Bozh it is only 10-15 minutes. This is a red light for industry professionals to publicly ask the following questions:
– how does this “magic” happen that the time for passing a technical inspection is reduced from 30 minutes to only 10-15?
– are cars inspected for exhaust gases?
– are the brakes inspected?
– are taxis checked for insurance on passenger seats?
– are taxis checked to see if they use the tires fixed by law? Few people know that taxi cars cannot use tires of any size, but a specific one, so that the taxis are not manipulated.
More questions can be asked, the answers to which would clarify the working methodology of the specified service.
For this reason, the industry is preparing a report to the prosecutor’s office as to whether this car center complies with the law on road traffic accidents.
A signal will also be sent to the Ministry of Transport with a request to review the video recordings of the technical inspections carried out at “Auto Bozh” 6 months ago.
There is a high probability that all technical inspections carried out half a year ago will be canceled if violations are found. Thus, drivers will “burn” with the already paid tolls and will have to go to the GTP again at another service station, which will cost them time and more money.
The industry appeals to drivers to be careful in choosing a GTP service, especially if the price of the service is embarrassingly low and differs from the standard in the country.
