*”Beyond the Curtain” and “The Poet” are included in the program of the Culture House NHK this Saturday, April 27, at 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Entrance is free! A charity screening of the film “Beyond the Curtain” will delight the citizens of Burgas from 6:30 p.m.

After the great interest in the documentary “Beyond the Curtain” at its screenings at the “Sofia Film Fest on the Shore” and at the Odeon Film Library, the Burgas audience will once again have the pleasure of enjoying the magnificent documentary story inspired by the Burgas “Melpomena” and for the people who stayed away from the spotlight, but without whom theatrical magic is unthinkable.

The film about the discreet side of theater life shows the Burgas Theater from the inside – seamstresses, make-up artist, props, ironworker, carpenter, stage workers and other services are the people the theater audience never sees. They carry tradition and decorations, lift a cigarette, light the suns and recreate life in the dark salon.

The tape is dedicated to props director Dimitar Iliev, sound engineer Georgi Panayotov and the father of Burgas theater for the last 26 years, Borislav Chakrinov, who unfortunately soon passed “beyond the curtain…”.

The idea of the team is to carry out a charity screening with free entry, with donation boxes. The funds raised will cover the post-production costs of the film.

From 5:00 p.m., the film “The Poet” by director Rosen Petrov will be shown. It is dedicated to the poet Hristo Fotev, his deep soul and unique creativity. The tape collects people who have interacted with him. Among them are the journalist Georgi Raykov, the poetess Venda Raykova, the artists Stoyan Tsanev and Stoyan Zabunov, the poet and playwright Nedyalko Yordanov, the actors Aglika Boyadzhieva, Dimitar Elenov and others.

The film will be presented from 17.00 with free admission.
