Representatives of the Directorate “Foreign Students” of the University of Ruse participated in a candidate campaign in Turkey

Representatives of the Directorate “Foreign Students” of the University of Ruse participated in a candidate campaign in the Republic of Turkey in the period April 15-20, 2024. The motto and purpose of the Directorate’s work was “LET’S GO TO BULGARIA and UNIVERSITY OF RUSE”. The idea of ​​the directorate is for more and more young people from the Republic of Turkey to be familiar with the conditions for admission and study in Bulgaria, to receive up-to-date information and to choose the University of Ruse for their future professional development.

Prof. Teodor Iliev – director of the Directorate “Foreign Students”, held meetings with graduates of the University of Ruse and their parents. He also spoke with representatives of the International Department of Uludag University in Bursa. Prof. Iliev also held information meetings with student exchanges organized by consulting companies in Istanbul offering study abroad.

More working meetings were held with the managers of “Herand Academy” – Prof. Dr. Denise Herand and Adv. Zafer Herand, at which the possibilities of attracting citizens of the Republic of Turkey to study at the Bachelor’s and Master’s Colleges of Education, both in Bulgarian and in English, were discussed.

At a meeting – discussion with students preparing for candidacy exams, Ruse University “Angel Kanchev” and the study opportunities were presented.

On April 20, 2024, an information meeting LET’S GO TO BULGARIA was held in Istanbul, presenting the opportunities for studying in higher education institutions in Bulgaria, organized by Mrs. Panar Yozer and Mr. Çaglayan Yozer – representatives of the CDS Study Abroad company. The information meeting was opened by Mrs. Radoslava Kafedzhiyska, consul at the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Istanbul. In addition to the presentation of the “Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse, questions were asked to the Consulate General in Istanbul in connection with the administrative procedures for issuing the necessary student visas and the subsequent recognition of the issued Bulgarian diplomas in the Republic of Turkey.
