Danail Kovachev has appealed to the Administrative Court
Complaint to the Administrative Court and signal to the prime minister and the Minister of Finance for misuse of public funds was submitted by the regional governor of Ruse Danail Kovachev. It is about buffer parking in the area of the Danube Bridgefor which the state allocated BGN 3 million to municipality of Rousse.
About the problems surrounding the construction of the parking lots in the border crossing area the Danube Bridge was discussed six months ago after the publication of the Anti-Corruption Fund. We are talking about two plots of land, municipal property, on which to build parking lots for the trucks that clogged the roads to the border. The larger one was given to a private contractor, and for the smaller one municipality of Rousse received aid in the amount of BGN 3 million from the state with a decree of the Council of Ministers from the Petkov government. This parking lot was supposed to provide a monthly income for the municipality’s budget and be managed by the municipality itself, reports BNR.
The documentary absurdities and the paradoxical implementation of the construction of the municipal part have now been confirmed by the regional governor Danail Kovachevwho imported complaint in the Administrative Court and signaled the Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova.
“We currently do not have a suitable self-contained HGV car park constructed under this ordinance. I will give a reward of 200 BGN to every driver of a heavy goods vehicle who manages to pass through this asphalt strip and manages to pass through the portal door. For me, the road that connects the built parking lot, independently commissioned and built by municipality of Roussedoes not meet the requirements and is unable to perform its functions“.
Despite the regional governor’s insistence to receive the investment project from the mayor’s administration, it was not granted through a silent refusal.
