Stara Zagora Municipality and Regional History Museum – Stara Zagora are organizing the first festival of its kind “From Augusta Traiana to Boruj”. It will show the customs of our ancestors, as well as the implementation of historical reconstructions of life, clothing, weapons, etc.
On May 18 and 19, 2024, the Augusta Traiana Ancient Forum Complex comes alive with spectacular historical reconstructions that will transport us to the eras of Antiquity and the Middle Ages. Festival attractions include a fashion show of ancient and medieval clothing, mead tasting, medieval cuisine demonstrations, archery, gladiatorial combat, Roman medicine, ancient board games and inventions.
