The performance of the Staro Zagora Puppet Theater “Honourable Cross” by Robert Askins, directed by Tsveti Penyashki will be part of the competition program of the XXIII International Theater Festival “The Magic Curtain” in Targovishte,
The festival is held annually at the beginning of May. The organizer of the event is the State Drama Theater – Targovishte with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, municipality – Targovishte, sponsors and the kind host of the State Puppet Theater – Targovishte.
This is the only festival in Bulgaria for dramatic performances for children. The festival program includes between 14 and 16 performances from the country and abroad, selected after a preliminary selection. The jury awards 5 prizes.
The accompanying festival program includes creative discussions, work workshops, contests for children’s drawing and young artistic talent, etc. You will be able to watch “Honest Cross” on 10.05 from 18:30 on the big stage of the State Drama Theater Targovishte.
